The prologue outlines the topics of Johnny Roberts's autobiography. Book I deals with how he became involved and converted from a naive street kid from South London to a team leader in a non-existent group. We travel to the Far East, Northern Ireland, and Cyprus.

The books are a touch of Bond meets Special Forces meets the Holy Grail. The trilogy is the story of the rebirth of an ancient group, the Magna Societe, into the 21st century, told as an autobiography through the eyes of the young man who became the seed for that rebirth.
